Abi F2024-08-18Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The best meal we had on our honeymoon! Definitely for the best price too. Husband had braised beef and I had mac n cheese and they were both beautiful! Portions were fab. Service was excellent and we were made to feel very welcome even though we weren’t staying in the main hotel. Thank you! Pat Kennedy2024-07-30Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Lovely hotel, if a little tired outside and some damp inside. We had a large comfortable room. I can only presume the damp (what looked like a cleaning cupboard) was supposed to be our wardrobe. I wouldn't hang anything in there. It is dog friendly all over, so mind the dog pooh on the lovely lawns. I mentioned to a member of staff a large deposit right beside the garden path and this was not cleared up, clearly someone had trodden in it before our next visit we had to the garden the next morning. Staff all very friendly. Food very nicely prepared, a few variations or an occasional daily special might be a nice alternative. I would stay here again if in the area, despite the damp and dog pooh. Clair Fullarton2024-07-19Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Couldn't fault anything. Room was huge and so quiet which was needed after working late into the night. Selina Dickson2024-07-16Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Stayed there for a concert in Stirling, best nights sleep my husband had in a long time, so peaceful, Dinner was delicious. Loved the dogs too. A bit dated but still thought it was great and welcoming. Staff were very helpful and attentive. Booking site stated room would have a river view but never seen a river, think it was booking site error to be honest. We are going back as we never got a chance to walk around the lovely gardens. A wee hidden gem
